Tasos is a member of the Human Dimensions Group of CALLISTO-Wildlife and Nature Conservation Society and a member of the Research in Science and Technology Education Group at the University of Cyprus. He is a Registered Mediator (Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry; 2019-) and he has been involved in the Secretariat of the EU Platform on Coexistence between People and Large Carnivores since 2015. Tasos served as Editor-in-Chief of Society & Natural Resources (2018-2020) and Editorial Board Member of Environmental Communication (2023-). He (co)authored several journal papers and book chapters,he edited a Routledge volume on human dimensions of large carnivore conservation and management and co-edited a Special Feature in People and Nature titled “Sharing landscapes with wildlife: conflict and coexistence of extensive grazing systems with large carnivores”. Tasos is involved in LIFE and HORIZON projects and his work focuses on showcasing how participatory multi-stakeholder processes in large carnivore conservation and management can promote convivial conservation.
